Guy Interrupted

A bit over 10 days or so, I’ ve been actively corresponding with a guy who seems to have fallen for an escort.

They met in a hotel bar – as two complete strangers.  One had a motive, the other was just passing time in a foreign land. Guess which was which?

She was there to work the bar and somehow found her “mark”.   Mark had zero idea that she was a working girl and he was by no means an angel. He confessed to me that he was a normal one night stand sort of guy and had never encountered a P4P (pay for play) situation. He clearly had met his match.

Long story short they went up to his room, she hustled a fee, they did the deed, and did the deed, and did the deed…she stayed the night, they talked until the morning, she alluded to her darkside and told him she was an escort.

Months have passed and now he has become completely smitten by her and is now in a bit of dilemma.

During the short time that they have been together she’s worked less / not at all. He covered her rent, took her shopping, purchased this, spent money on that… after awhile, he began to notice that she did not value money – but rather she was completely money oriented.

Mark is now feeling as if he was being used.

I forgot to mention that he paid for her business upgrade (new website, photoshoot, new lingerie…) and marketing tools (wrote the wording on her ad) and now he feels bad because HE now feels as if he is condoning her “darkside” and would prefer that she not escort any longer.

My advice  and general rule of thumb as well as life mantra:  ”Do what makes you comfortable”.

If he no longer feels comfortable giving her money, then he should stop.

If he can no longer handle that she escorts AND she decides to continue escorting AND that makes him uncomfortable, then he should stop.
